We're all so impressed by politicians, we volunteer to pay them every chance we get.
When we earn money, when we spend money, when we save money, when we live in a house or drive a car, when we eat or drink. Even when our parents die, we happily hand over big chunks of their life's saving for politicians to spend however they wish. And then we complain about austerity, and the cost of living.
