Being aware of our surroundings, staying abreast of current affairs and identifying potential dangers are critical and primal instincts.

But as the world becomes harder to understand, obsessive speculation about tyranny is exactly how tyranny propagates.

Over stimulation creates fear and uncertainty.

Fear and uncertainty leads to conflict.

Conflict is always the excuse for authoritarianism.

 

If we remove attention from fear and uncertainty and commit to being honest: For the benefit of our conscience, and with common consideration; then peace is an automatic, effortless side effect which is produced through its own processes over which we have no command; and our personal freedom becomes inevitable.
